Professional Bio
Barb is an instructor in the Department of Applied Human Sciences at Kansas State, teaching Reflective Practice: Infants and Toddlers. Formerly the infant-toddler lead teacher at Hoeflin Stone House Early Childhood Education Center, Barb now coordinates & mentors students in Early Childhood Practicum 1 at K-State Center for Child Development where she is also a lead teacher in one of the toddler programs. Barb is a graduate of KSU (’79 & ’83). She held a similar position at the University of Missouri-Columbia for 21 years before relocating to Manhattan in 2007. Barb has served as an administrator, instructor, trainer, and classroom teacher during her lengthy career in early childhood. She has been an active member of boards and professional organizations.
