Professional Biography

Kim previously worked as a Student Retention Coordinator at Cloud County Community College-Junction City Campus. This position allowed her to work with at risk students to assist them to be successful on campus and online, participate in College wide initiatives to assist First Generation students and teach a first year experience class that assisted students to develop skills to be successful. Kim was also the Disabilities Coordinator and Title IX Deputy Coordinator on that campus. She coordinated many of the activities that were held including the campus Blood Drive held multiple times throughout the year. Prior this this she worked at Clarkson College in Omaha, Nebraska where she taught classes in Human Growth and Development and Ethics in Healthcare. Kim is now advising students in both Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) and Food, Nutrition, Dietetics, and Health (FNDH).

Personal Information

Kim is married to her husband Jeff and has 3 children Riley, Dylan and Tyler. They live on an acreage and enjoy the numerous different animals and activities that come with rural living. She enjoys traveling to beach destinations and spending time with family and friends at Milford Lake. She is a Nebraska girl at heart but is excited to be at K-State and become part of the K-State family.
