Conflict Mediation Session

Faculty in the Conflict Resolution program conduct research relating to conflict resolution and trauma. Current research projects include:

Divided Societies and Post-Conflict Reconstruction and Reconciliation

Brett Mallon does research on divided societies and civil wars. He focuses specifically on peace-building processes and the post-agreement environment within conflict zones. Current projects in this area include:

  • The role of civil society in the peacemaking and peace-building process
  • Peace agreement design and implementation
  • Memorialization, remembrance, and victim and survivor issues
  • Youth engagement in peace-building processes
