2020 Symposium
It was with a heavy hear that we had to cancel the IDFS Showcase of Excellence due to COVID-19.
We were able to still hold the remaining events for Symposium on Friday, April 17, 2020 the IDFS Student Symposium in a virtual setting. All events for symposium stemmed from the theme, "Our Legacy - Empowerment." We held panel discussions, master classes, and special topic sessions for students, professionals and alumni through Zoom Teleconference. Students interacted with advisory board members and professionals from the interior design program and the fashion studies program.
This event was a great opportunity for current and prospective students to meet alumni, professionals and faculty within in the fashion studies and interior design professions. It provided students the opportunity to to learn from professionals about the issues and opportunities within their prospective professions.
