Morphology-Driven Superhydrophobic Polystyrene Web: Fabrication and Characterization

Research Interests
My current study is on developing a robust superomniphobic textile surface utilizing the nano-fabrication techniques. Applications of this functional material could be related to self-cleaning textiles and personal protective equipment. Another research interest I’m pursuing at K-State is investigating the environmental impacts of this self-cleaning material during the maintenance phase of the product lifecycle due to the reduced need of laundering for less soiling.
