Aqua Aerobics Information and Hours

Our Aqua Aerobics program is taught by students from Kansas State University. This class aims at providing a safe and ideal environment for relieving arthritis pain and stiffness. Immersing in warm water increases body temperature, causing blood vessels to dilate therefore increasing blood circulation.  Water exercise is a gentle way to exercise joints and muscles. Water supports joints to encourage free movement, and can act as resistance to build muscle strength.

The Department of Kinesiology suggests speaking with your physician before participating in physical activity. In order to take part in our Aqua Aerobics class, each participant is asked to sign and turn in a waiver of liability along with payment before joining an aquatics class. In the event the office is closed, lifeguards/instructor will accept and turn-in waivers of liability and checks for the session in progress.

  • Class Times:
    • Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7:30am - 8:20 am
    • Tuesday, Thursday 5:10pm - 6:00pm
