Financial planning students head to national finals

Two teams of K-State students will go for the gold in the national finals of  the Collegiate Financial Planning Challenge in Denver next week. K-State is the only university to have two teams selected for the finals.

The students are:

Team One:
Kristin Willhite and Amy Huninghake
Team Two:
Charles Hazlett, Chelsy Parsons, and Andrew Warner

Their adviser is John Grable, professor in Family Studies and Human Services.

The students will make presentations at the Financial Planning Association convention Oct. 8 to 11.
