Human Ecology funds three projects

The College of Human Ecology at Kansas State University has funded three grants to college researchers for about $12,000. Those receiving grants and their project titles are:
- Sara K. Rosenkranz and Mark D. Haub, Department of Human Nutrition, for “Do alterations in meal size and frequency affect postprandial lipema and inflammation?” $5,000.
- Jooyoun Kim, Department of Apparel, Textiles, and Interior Design, and Jichul Jang, Department of Hospitality Management and Dietetics, for “Environmental and economic impacts made by the reduced maintenance needs for self-cleaning table cloths in the hotel restaurant context.” $4,600.
- Jennifer Hanson, Department of Hospitality Management and Dietetics, “Observed and self-reported food handling behaviors at outdoor venues.” $3,363.
