Interior design and fashion studies department names 2020-2021 student ambassadors

The Department of Interior Design and Fashion Studies has announced their 19 student ambassadors for the current school year. Ambassadors promote the department during university, college and department recruitment events and visit with prospective students.

This year’s ambassadors are:

From Kansas: Tamara McConnell, fashion studies, junior, Berryton; Lally Pribyl, interior design, fourth year, Gardner;

 From Greater Kansas City: Olivia Carney, fashion studies, senior; Skylar Peters, fashion studies, senior; Sydney Stricker, fashion studies, junior; Agel Yor, fashion studies, sophomore; and Rachel Woodard, interior design, fourth year, all from Olathe and Madi Fleming, interior design, second year, Overland Park.

 Laura Gillum, interior design, third year, Rossville; Gigi Oste, fashion studies, senior, Russell; Amanda Hinnen, interior design, fourth year, Towanda; Sophia Neal, fashion studies, junior, Valley Center; and Alicia Thurston, interior design, third year, Wichita.

 From out of state: Alexandra Burnham, fashion studies, senior, Rocklin, California; Emily Myers, interior design, third year, Ft. Collins, Colorado; Martha Hill, fashion studies, senior, Des Plaines, Illinois; Brett LaFleur, interior design, third year, Omaha, Nebraska; and Bryson Thomas, fashion studies, junior, Baker City, Oregon; and Ivana Maodus, interior design, third year, Belgrade, Serbia.

 The Department of Interior Design and Fashion Studies is located in the College of Health and Human Sciences and offers degrees in Interior Design and Fashion Studies, with specializations in fashion business or fashion design.
