Short Biography

Jill Parker is the academic advisor for all undergraduate programs in Personal Financial Planning. For information about graduate options, contact Morgan Graham.

Jill Parker has 17 years of experience in academic advising and career counseling in higher education. After earning her graduate degrees, she spent 6 years as an advisor/career counselor, and then was promoted to Director of Career Services in Fort Wayne, IN at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne. She later relocated to Fort Collins, CO, where she served as the Director of Advising, Career, and Retention Services at Front Range Community College-Larimer Campus for nearly 7 years. While Parker enjoyed her work as a director, she found she missed working directly with students. She has worked at K-State as an advisor since August 2017, and she currently advises students in our undergraduate programs in PFP.
