Dr. Megan McCoy, Ph.D., LMFT, AFC®, CFT-I™

Megan McCoy, Ph.D., LMFT, AFC®, CFT-I™ is the Acting Program Chair and Associate Professor at Kansas State University’s Personal Financial Planning program. She teaches courses at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels focused on financial well-being, financial therapy, and couple dynamics regarding finances.

Dr. Blake Gray, PhD, CFP®

Blake Gray, Ph.D., CFP® is an Assistant Professor in Personal Financial Planning program at Kansas State University, where he teaches undergraduate and Ph.D. classes. His areas of specialization include marriage, household roles, and marital satisfaction, positive psychology and interventions to make positive changes, and behavioral finance - how expectations and thoughts shape ultimate behavior.

Dr. Lamindy (Mindy) Joseph, PhD, CFP®

Mindy Joseph, PhD, CFP®, is an Assistant Professor in the Personal Financial Planning program at Kansas State University, where she teaches undergraduate and doctoral courses. Her research interests have been informed by more than twenty years of industry experience and include the influence of emotional and psychological factors on the financial decisions of emerging adults and underrepresented groups. She is also interested in the ethics and oversight of financial professionals, as well as sudden money situations.

Dr. Martin Seay, PhD, CFP®

Martin Seay, Ph.D., CFP® is a Professor in the Personal Financial Planning program at Kansas State University. His research and area(s) of interest include, but are not limited to, personal and financial decisions, use and impact of financial advice, and debt decisions.

Dr. Yu (Yulia) Zhang, Ph.D., AFC®

Yu (Yulia) Zhang, Ph.D., AFC® is an Assistant Professor in the Personal Financial Planning program at Kansas State University. Her research interests include financial technology, advice-seeking, financial capability, financial education and socialization, and consumer financial well-being.
