Professional Biography
Kelsie Doty, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Fashion Studies program at Kansas State University. She earned her PhD in Apparel Design from Cornell University and both her MSc and BSc in Apparel and Textiles from Kansas State University. Dr. Doty’s research examines the intersections of sustainability, fashion supply chains, and communities through a multidisciplinary lens. Integrating qualitative research methods with creative design practice, her work explores innovative and sustainable approaches to fashion and textile design.
