Dual Degree: Master of Business Administration and MS in Hospitality Administration
The dual MBA/MS in Hospitality Administration Degrees Program is an academic program that allows for the concurrent study of graduate business and graduate science course work and leads to both the MBA degree and the MS degree in Hospitality Administration. The program is designed for students seeking business leadership opportunities in the hospitality industry. The MBA portion is designed to advance the knowledge and practice of business administration. The Hospitality Administration portion is designed to provide industry-specific knowledge necessary to succeed in the hospitality industry. Students graduating from the dual degree program will receive two degrees, an MBA and an MS in Hospitality Administration. The degrees are conferred simultaneously upon meeting all requirements for the dual degree program.

The fall dual degree student admission deadline is July 15. This is to allow time for processing through the Graduate School before the semester starts.
The spring dual degree student admission deadline is December 1.
International students have deadlines set by the Graduate School – January 8 for Fall admission and August 1 for Spring admission.
Interviews are not required for admission
We do not admit in summer.
A cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale or a GPA of 3.0 in the last 60 hours of coursework.
Submit an application for admission to the Kansas State University Graduate School for the Hospitality Administration program along with a domestic application fee of $65 or an international application fee of $75, as required by the Graduate School. Your application must include the following documents:
Personal statement
Three professional references and letters of recommendation
Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions
Resume
Official English Proficiency Scores (international applicants only)
Your personal statement should include your motivation for pursuing a graduate degree, career goals, your research interests, and the faculty member(s) you’d like to work under (if choosing thesis track), and any additional pertinent information you would like to share about your personal, academic, and/or professional experiences.
NOTE: The GRE is not required for master's admission.
