Advanced Personal Financial Planning Graduate Certificate

Student presenting their researchOur completely online 12 credit hour certificate is designed for existing CFP® professionals who want to increase their technical skills and knowledge beyond the core curriculum. It is one more way to boost oneself above others during the hiring process and stand out amongst other candidates.

The Advanced Financial Planning Graduate Certificate consists of four courses that total a combined 12 semester credit hours.

Scheduled Course Dates

Courses are eight weeks in length for both fall and spring. We have rolling admission, so our learners can start multiple times throughout the year: August, October, January, March, and June. It is strongly recommended that learners apply no less than four weeks before classes start to ensure the processing of paperwork.

Fall

  • PFP 863: Advanced Personal Income Tax Planning (1st 8 weeks)
  • PFP 835: Professional Practice Management in Personal Financial Planning (2nd 8 weeks)

Spring

  • PFP 864: Advanced Estate Planning Issues (1st 8 weeks)
  • PFP 860: Advanced Retirement Planning Issues (2nd 8 weeks)
