Research, Evaluation, & Policy

One element of the Kansas Institute for Early Childhood Education and Research is to provide interdisciplinary training on all things early childhood.

Mission

The research mission of KIECER is to advance our knowledge of young children’s health, development, and learning through interdisciplinary collaborations.

Although many of our current research projects focus on early childhood play, curriculum, and professional practices, the opportunities for conducting research through the KIECER are endless. Upon completing the Research Request Form (coming soon—meanwhile, email lutter@k-state.edu with interest), faculty and students will have access to a diverse group of children, ages 6 weeks to 5 years.
