Exercise is Medicine Student Organization (EIMSA)
The Exercise is Medicine Student Association (EIMSA) is the undergraduate student organization housed within the School of Health Sciences at Kansas State University. It evolved from combining the Exercise is Medicine initiative with the Kinesiology Student Association. The objectives of this organization is to provide experiences beneficial to health majors and those interested in exercise promotion. All majors are welcome!
Requirements to be considered a participating member in good standing:
- Accumulate a minimum of 50 points* per year and participation in at least 1 community service event promoting Exercise is Medicine
- Pay the $20.00 required dues
Meetings and Announcements
EIMSA meetings will be held on the second Tuesday of each month in Justin Hall 163 at 7:00 pm.
Point system for membership status
Students receive points for several areas of participation in EIMSA.
Activity Points:
- Attending monthly meetings - 10
- Attending a social event - 10
- Participation in Intramurals - 10

National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA)
The K-State chapter of this national student organization encourages professional interest among college and university students in the study of normal and disordered human communication. All students not yet eligible for membership in the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association are eligible for membership in this student chapter.

Student Dietetic Association (SDA)
SDA helps students learn about the fascinating opportunities in the field of dietetics. Students in SDA network with registered dietitians in practice, faculty and peers through programs and socials. SDA also supports the college and the community through a variety of service and volunteer projects. SDA provides scholarship opportunities to members interested in attending national, state and local conferences.
