Professional Biography

Tara serves as a Program Project Consultant for the 4-H Military Partnership Project at Kansas State University. In her role, she works with leaders of the United States Air Force Child and Youth Programs to ensure military-connected youth around the world have access to 4-H programs. Tara’s last position, was with the Kansas State University Graduate school, coordinating graduate level educational forums and events.

Before coming to Kansas State University, she had decade-plus tenure with the Military Child Education Coalition, serving as a vital liaison between military families, school districts, and community stakeholders, helping schools achieve the Purple Star School Designation. She has successfully led a wide variety of teams, facilitated over 70 educational workshops, and managed large-scale communication programs. Her career is defined by a commitment to fostering cohesive, productive teams and creating impactful experiences.

Personal Information

Tara is a dedicated community advocate and volunteer with a passion for building lasting community partnerships. Tara and her husband are KSU alumni and have two children attending Kansas State.
