Professional Biography
Suzie is a skilled administrative and project management professional with over 25 years of experience in higher education, nonprofit programs, and corporate environments. Recognized for her attention to detail, organizational skills, and talent for building positive relationships, Suzie consistently demonstrates a strong dedication to accuracy and efficiency in every role she undertakes. Most recently, Suzie worked at K-State’s College of Veterinary Medicine, supporting the Department Head and Assistant Dean for Administration and Finance at an executive level. She managed complex schedules, travel plans, and confidential communications, ensuring compliance with university policies and maintaining accurate financial and personnel records. She also supervised business office operations, led student employee teams, and helped with event planning. Previously, Suzie worked as the Project Associate for the 4-HMPOS, where she coordinated grant processes, managed budgets, and organized national training conferences.
In her new role as the Project Coordinator, Suzie will support the project by coordinating program activities, meetings, and events; managing communication through websites, social media, and marketing materials; and assisting with project evaluation and improvement. Her efforts will help ensure smooth operations, effective stakeholder engagement, and the continuation of project goals.
Personal Information
Suzie attended Cloud County Community College and was a part of the Great Society Singers while attending Cloud. Suzie has worked for K-State back in 1994 until 2000 and then returned back to K-State in 2008 and has truly enjoyed work for the University. Suzie has two grown children that have kept her busy and look forward to seeing them in their next adventures. "We have enjoyed attending K-State events and being with family and friends."
