More people are surviving cancer thanks to better treatments, but many still face problems like tiredness, weak bones, heart disease, depression, and anxiety. Physical activity, especially outdoors, can help cancer survivors feel better and reduce the risk of cancer coming back. This program is a 12-week outdoor exercise program for cancer survivors living in and around Manhattan, Kansas. Researchers will test how easy and helpful the program is by tracking participants’ health, energy levels, and mental well-being. The goal is to improve cancer survivors’ quality of life by making physical activity more accessible and enjoyable.

  • Behavior change support will be integrated into the sessions to support long-term healthy lifestyle changes
