The Kansas State University Personal Financial Planning Professional Connections Event is our premier high-impact recruiting experience designed to connect top employers with exceptional emerging talent.

Organized in a “speed-networking” format, this dynamic event allows students from both the PFP major and minor to engage in timed sessions with each firm. Each round includes brief introductions, elevator pitches, and a Q&A exchange. To ensure the most productive conversations, internship‑seeking and job‑seeking students are placed in separate spaces. Firms recruiting for full‑time roles will enjoy extended time with each candidate, allowing for deeper, more meaningful dialogue.

Year after year, this event proves to be one of the most energizing and effective recruiting opportunities for our partners. Many firms extend same‑day internship offers or schedule follow‑up interviews based solely on the strong first impressions made during these sessions.
