Master of Science in Food Science

M.S. in Food Science is administered through the Food Science Institute. It is an interdisciplinary program spanning 5 colleges and 11 departments. Research emphasis includes food chemistry, food microbiology, food safety, sensory analysis, food processing, food engineering, and food commodities (cereal; dairy; meats and poultry; fruits and vegetables, etc.). Industry professionals and other off-campus students can also enroll in the online M.S. program through K-State Online.
