Health Coach Certificate

The purpose for the Health Coaching certificate is to provide specific training to individuals seeking work as a Health Coach. A Health Coach is someone who educates and mentors individuals, or small groups, to improve their health behaviors. This is not a national certification program, but an academic certificate. Certificate can be completed by degree seeking students at Kansas State University or obtained by non-degree seeking as a stand-alone certificate on its own (free-standing).

To declare the certificate students will need to:

  • Visit the FNDH Department Office in Justin 245 or complete this Qualtrics survey.
  • Meet appropriate course pre-requisite requirements.
