Professional Biography

Ericka joined Kansas State University in the fall of 2019. She has been employed in the food service industry in various aspects for the past 20 years. She was previously employed for various companies including The Walt Disney Company, Aramark, Club-Med, Southern Foodservice Management, and several independent food service operations. She brings her vast knowledge and professional skill set of the hospitality industry, to the academic setting to educate the next generation of hospitality leaders. Her current research interests include Substance Use Disorder (SUD) among food service employees and its relation to hospitality business operations and human resources, including recovery and prevention.
