Implementation Timeline

We are excited to continue our partnership with Emergent Method as they will guide and manage the implementation of our reorganization over the 2024-2025 academic year. Although it will take more than a year to complete, the steps we take now are essential for setting us up for long-term success. To ensure a smooth transition, it is crucial that we begin establishing the necessary systems and processes immediately.

Below is a brief overview of the key initiatives and ongoing work across the college throughout the 2024-2025 academic year.

Student Success

Managing the advising restructure and new hires, tracking enrollment metrics, managing student curricular requests

Faculty Affairs

Reviewing committee structures, updating workload policy, development of departmental documents including promotion & tenure guidelines and annual evaluations

Courses & Curricula

Updating school codes and course prefixes, shifting degrees/minors/certificates to new schools, Managing general curricular updates and schedule changes

Communications & Marketing

Managing the broad HHS website refresh, updating social media, developing recruitment materials, signage, and external marketing assets

Budget & Finance

Analysis of fee structures, updating funding and foundation accounts, tracking budget

Administrative Structure

Developing new administrative structures, hiring Associate Directors for each school, and reviewing space allocation by unit

Research

Updating school codes in Cayuse, realigning research space

Office of the Dean

Evaluating and updating office structure and additional position needs

1: Distribute draft P&T guidelines to faculty
