After graduating, Amy accepted a position at Lands’ End as a Technical Design Assistant and then worked her way up to an Associate Technical Designer. While there, she worked on several product categories including Knits, Sweaters, Sleepwear and Essentials. In early 2010, Amy left Lands’ End and moved to the Philadelphia, PA area to work for QVC as a Technical Designer for the Denim and Co. line.  However, when a job opened up at GTM later that year, she left QVC and moved back to Manhattan, KS to be closer to her family.  At GTM, Amy was the Product Development Manager where she managed the technical development of all GTM branded clothing and accessories. In October of 2016, Amy moved to Northwest Arkansas, accepting a job with Walmart.  There, she manages the technical development of several private label brands and categories.  Amy is a member of the K-State Apparel and Textiles Professional Advisory Board. She graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Apparel and Textiles, specializing in apparel design and production.
