Interior Designer

Andrea is a 2013 graduate of Kansas State University Interior Design program. Andrea leads PGAV Architects’ interior design studio in Kansas City. Her ability to see the big picture at each step of the design process is key to her success as an interior designer. Andrea excels at collaborating with her team members, across diverse project types, to establish a design direction that integrates interior architecture, lighting, finishes and FF&E. 

Her responsibilities consist of the following:

  • Establish and develop interior design concepts for workplace, higher education, civic/government, laboratory, senior living, and tenant improvement projects 
  • Prepare construction documents and FF&E specifications
  • Select finish materials, furnishings, and fixtures
  • Participate in the construction administration of projects through the review of submittals, shop drawings, and finish samples
  • Interface with consultants, contractors, and manufacturers' representatives
  • Participate in presentations and meetings with clients
  • Generate presentation materials for client meetings including concept images, schematic sketches, research, finish boards, and developmental drawings
