Professional Biography

Barbara Anderson received her Bachelor of Architecture degree from Kansas State University and her Master of Architecture degree from the University of Kansas. She has more than 20 years of experience in historic preservation and is an NCIDQ certificate holder. Professor Anderson's preservation projects have included consultation on: the rehabilitation of Cedar Crest, the Kansas Governor's Residence; preservation of the Amelia Earhart Birthplace Museum; preservation of the Chase County (Kansas) Courthouse; guidance on design for the Kansas Main Street Program; and assistance to various historical building museums in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Oklahoma.
