As a May 2012 graduate, Ian began his career working in Emporia for Evergreen Design-build. He then moved back to Manhattan in 2017 to work for Timber and Stone Architecture+Design for 2 years, then BG consultants for 2.5 years. He is currently employed by Prime Design.
Prime Design is a part of a company called the Prime Company and they specialize in multi-family housing across the nation. Prime Company is vertically integrated because they buy, design, build, and manage their multi-family housing projects. Ian's role with the company is Design Professional/BIM Manager. He primarily works on developing BIM models, putting together construction documents, assisting with construction administration, and assisting with BIM software management. Ian has attained the Construction Doccument Technologists (CDT) Certification and is taking the Architectural Registration Examination to become a registered architect.
