Kristi Bohling-DaMetz
Kristi Bohling-DaMetz, RN, BSN, MBA, is director of the Aging and Adult Services Department at the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC), a metropolitan planning organization in the Kansas City region. MARC is the Area Agency on Aging for the Kansas City, Missouri, planning and service area and leads the bi-state Community Support Network, a nationally recognized advanced community care hub. Other departmental programs include food as medicine, community health worker (CHW), and communities for all ages. Bohling-DaMetz is president of the Missouri Association of Area Agencies on Aging (ma4).
Prior to her work at MARC, Bohling-DaMetz served as CEO at HealthTeamWorks, optimizing health care performance improvement and the transition to value-based payment models nationally and internationally. Concurrently, Bohling-DaMetz was named CEO of the Iowa Chronic Care Consortium (ICCC) while working through a merger of two nonprofit organizations.
At a subsidiary of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), Bohling-DaMetz led a round one health care innovation award through the CMS Innovation Center (CMMI), recognized as one of two initiatives achieving measurable reductions in high-cost care such as avoidable ED and hospital admissions, before becoming a lead associate and subject matter expert at Booz Allen Hamilton.
Bohling-DaMetz received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Wichita State University and her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Friends University.
