Professional Bio

Barb is an instructor in Family Studies and Human Services at Kansas State. She is the lead teacher of the infant-toddler program at Hoeflin Stone House Early Childhood Center and teaches an infant-toddler course and practicum for the department. Barb is a graduate of KSU (’79 & ’83). She held a similar position at the University of Missouri-Columbia for 21 years before relocating to Manhattan in 2007. Barb has served as an administrator, instructor, trainer, and classroom teacher during her lengthy career in early childhood. She has been an active member of boards and professional organizations.
