Graduate Admission in CSD (apply through CSDCAS)
To be considered for graduate admission, the applicant must have:
- a bachelor's degree,
- adequate undergraduate preparation in speech-language pathology or equivalent evidence of an appropriate background for undertaking an advanced degree program,
- an overall undergraduate average of 3.0 or better,
- an undergraduate average of 3.0 or better in the junior and senior years,
- an undergraduate average of 3.0 or better in the major,
- a personal statement regarding professional interests and goals (one page), and
- three recommendation forms completed by instructors or other individuals who can attest to the applicant’s suitability for graduate study in speech-language pathology.
Applicants who have been denied admission may apply once more to the program.

Graduate application in CSD at K-State is through the centralized application service known as CSDCAS.

- You can select Spring, Summer or Fall consideration. You have an opportunity to indicate interest in funding as part of the application process.
- We encourage you to submit your CSDCAS application (fully complete) two to three weeks prior to the designated deadline to allow ample time for your academic records to be verified through CSDCAS and for you to receive your supplemental application from Kansas State University.
- Your recommenders submit their ratings and letter of support through the CSDCAS portal only.
International Applicant Guidelines and Deadlines
Deadlines for International applicants are December 1 for summer admission, January 8 for fall admission, and August 1 for spring admission consideration. Refer to university guidelines for English Proficiency Requirements.
